Card Catalog

Frequently asked questions

How do I get my cards?

If you're a local resident of Whatcom county, I'm happy to deliver your order free of charge to your doorstep. No waiting for shipping, no extra fees or charges. You pay, I bring. If you're outside of Whatcom county, I'll ship your cards to your listed address. Pretty basic.

What products do you have?

I sell secondhand (unsealed) trading cards, relating accessories, and at the moment, a card collection appraisal service.

How do you get your cards?

I don't scalp. You'll never find me lurking next to the vending machines in Fred Meyers, or pitching a tent outside Target. I only buy from secondhand markets or the occasional trade-in from members of our community. I don't have a relationship with any distributors, and I don't have a reseller's license so no sealed product quite yet. When I do, you'll know!

Are you buying/trading?

I'm always hoping to buy/trade! I say hoping because the only downside to reselling bulk cards is that it's not heavy on the liquid cash flow. At the moment, my capacity for buying is smaller collections.

What are your rates?

I purchase bulk cards at $1 per 100 cards. That's a penny each card, or $10 per thousand cards. But Hannah, you sell cards at minimum .1 cents! That's a 1000% markup! Yeah, but I've got mouths to feed, man. And despite the altruism I'd LIKE to offer cards for free, I do need to make money to grow the business. .10 is the bare minimum to pay for materials, shipping, and fees like maintaining the website. I'm doing this for the love of the game.

I buy singles at 70% market value. That's higher than common shops!

I also offer store credit at 80% market value. If you ever want to cash-out your store credit, it's a 10% cash-out fee.
